From the city center, San Sebastian is divided into two through the river of Urumea. Every year the fascinating city of San Sebastian is filled with various tourists coming from all over the world. This is because San Sebastian has been surrounded with great scenery that you must have to see. Below are some of the many captivating places to visit in San Sebastian.

The Chillida Leku. Famous artists all over the world because of the sculptures he has. With his own open-air museum Chillida Leku’s family displayed forty pieces which are made of iron and granite. Within the trees and fields of grass the sculptures of Chillida can be seen. His museum is a great place to visit and explore. Wandering around the museum would let you know well the artist.

San Sebastian’s Aquarium. San Sebastian’s aquarium is filled with various wonderful subtropical animals. The aquarium as well has a nautical museum which has a whale skelet in the center. If you want to see this option of the aquarium you could go to the second floor. You will be walking in the dark passage going to the huge glass tunnel where you can see the aquarium surrounded with various species of fish. This is a great place to take photos, but make sure that the camera you are using would make nice pictures even without using the flash because the aquarium has a dark ambiance.

San Sebastian Beaches. San Sebastian is very much famous because of its various pristine beaches. But there are three most popular beaches to visit in San Sebastian: the beach of Zurriola, Concha and Ondaretta. These beach resorts are always filled with tourists and locales. The great areas to swim especially if the sun is up, sunbathing is also great here as well as relaxing and surfing.
