San Sebastian in Spain is filled with visitors and tourists during summer and September, for the International Film Festival which is graced by many international artists from all over the world.
Summer is the most crowded place for San Sebastian. For me there are 6 major things to do here. First, traveling and touring the place is one way of getting to know Northern Spain. San Sebastian, I could say represent popularly this part of the Spanish land. The history and it culture are good enough for a traveler for two or three days of touring.
Surfing is another activity that captivates the tourists here. Many people and tourist visits the place to learn how to surf or practice surfing. San Sebastian is an international destination for surfing. There are even surfing festivals that are held her every year. Neophytes are also welcome in discovering the world of surfing for there are available instructors in the resorts located in this city.
Fourth, Dance lessons are also popular in this part of the Basque country. There are lessons for the traditional Spanish dances that tourists can enroll and participate. Try dancing the Flamenco, folklore, Classical Spanish Dance, XVII Century Dances, Castanets and Classical Ballet.
Exploring the Basque country and the diverse scenery it has; is also one activity that many indulge. Trekking and country exploring is becoming popular now days. With the right guide, you will surely enjoy this activity.
International students also flock to this Basque country to study or to learn Spanish for short term or long term courses. The universities her are really the first of the universities that sprung decades ago. So, it is not surprising when it maintains a high-scholastic standard that attracts students worldwide.
