Recently, San Sebastian is one of the busy yet down to earth city ideal for genuine people. Despite what they said that the city is not included as a summer vacation hot spot in Europe however, it does not mean that it loses its charm, attractions and activities.

Though San Sebastian is never been appointed as one of the hot spots in Europe however, it has been appointed as one of the rushing vacation destinations in Northern Spain. The old city still has its charming old city center. The beach remains calm yet pristine and the people stay approachable and friendly. If looking for tranquility and peace, you must head to this place. Because though it is a busy city compared from its past history however, it is not as busy and hassle when being compared to the other cities of Spain. You can always find a place to unwind and relax here.

The city is not really that big, there is no need for you to rent a car here to explore its attractions because almost all of it is just a walking distance from the main city. Though San Sebastian is appointed as a running vacation destination in Spain, there are still things that you need to consider when you were here. You have to know the precautions that you have to remember because there are some pickpockets and there are some areas of the city that is not ideal for tourists because it is too dangerous for them.

But the best thing that you have to remember before you visit San Sebastian is to place for it in advance. So that everything would be perfect and full of fun.

Look up the places near France and you will locate San Sebastian. The place is most famous for its beautiful beaches though the architecture, and other tourist destination is also worthy of notice.

Weather

San Sebastian Weather from spring, summer, autumn to winter is a blessing to behold. During winter, you will need additional clothing, yet temperatures will remain at an average of 10 degrees Celsius and what is most appreciated is it does not snow in this part of Spain. Autumn weather has an occasional rain shower with many mixtures of sunny weather with an average temperature of 20 degrees Celsius; it starts from September to November with colder nights. Summer is best for San Sebastian Travel with temperatures at an average of 35 degrees which made the swimming o the beaches very popular. This season is from February and April. On spring season rain is more frequent in this part of Spain. It is best to hunt for museums at this time.

Transportation

Transportation in this city is not a problem. The air transport is very much connected to other parts of the Europe. The San Sebastian airport is a 19 kilometer distance from Barcelona or Madrid. While the Biarrtz airport is 50 kilometer away which also connects to Frankfurt, London Stanstead, Brussels, Paris and Madrid; though you can also arrive in the place on train transportation. In touring the city you can either choose to take a taxi or bus. It is practical to take a taxi when you got heavy luggage from the airport or train station. In fact, I get persuaded with this lovely city of Spain and I’m planning to spend my summer vacation here. I want to know better the historical background of this city. Why it became one of the famous summer destinations not only in Spain itself but all over the world. Plus I want to savor San Sebastian’s paradise like place; I want to swim in their pristine beaches. I would surely love taking pictures in their cultural activities. It would be an awesome summer vacation I’ll ever have.

I planned to watch on their famous festivals which are the Carnival, Semana Grande, and the Caldereros Festival and the most awaited San Sebastian Day. Perhaps I’ll be traveling to San Sebastian in the month of January since accordingly the said festival is celebrated every 20th of January. But as my friend told me, I should already get a ticket before flocking in San Sebastian because the ticket in going there especially during their peak seasons is expectedly expensive. To have a cheap travel in San Sebastian it is advice for everybody not only for me to book in advance.

San Sebastian’s travel tourism is spectacular. No wonder most of the tourists who had been here were in-love with the place. And I’m sure I too will be in-love and you will for sure also, I can’t wait to be with the city soon. The famous beach of San Sebastian, the Playa de la Concha would be in my lists of itineraries for sure. This would be my perfect summer beach vacation which is ideal also for you. For your meaningful San Sebastian travel never forget also to book in advance your accommodation. The city has various cheap hotels offered. There are also luxurious hotels if you want, depending on your budget. Maybe you want to join me next year in San Sebastian why not? I mean the city is fabulous and you will surely enjoy and will never regret your stay here even for awhile.
