<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Basilica of Santa Maria</strong> &#8211; Located in Calle Mayor in the Old Street of Donostia, this 18-th century Baroque architectural sculpture was built within the years 1743 and 1774. Its most outstanding features are the Baroque façade with Churrigueresque influence. It was actually dedicated to the Virgin of the Choir, the city’s patron saint.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Church of San Vicente</strong> &#8211; his church is actually the city’s oldest house to worship since it was built during the 16th century located in the Old Part of the city. The Church of San Vicente is in a Gothic style, giving credits to Ambrosio de Bengoechea and Juan de Iriarte with its Romanian altarpieces, and Jorge Oteiza due to its side facade that has “La Piedad” (Pietà).</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Constitución Square</strong> &#8211; Situated in San Sebastian’s prestigious City Hall, the Constitución Square is known as the heart of the Old Part. It is a place where people can go to and also the main site of San Sebastian’s local fiestas and other city events. Constitución Square actually has a rich history since it was used as bullring and was hired by spectators at the same time.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>San Sebastian City Hall</strong> &#8211; Located in the La Concha Bay area where the Alderdi-Eder Gardens and the Constitución Square is situated, this must-see architectural landmark was officially acknowledged as the city’s City hall. You see, the city hall of San Sebastian was actually the city’s former Grand Casino. But since 1924, the casino was closed to prohibit the city’s gambling. The previously roulette wheels and Ballroom is now the presently the Council&#8217;s Plenary Chamber.</p>

There are three different architectural styles in San Sebastian; the <em>Gothic style architecture</em>, <em>Renaissance architectural style </em>and the<em> Baroque architectural style</em>.  Below are the examples of each of the architectural style that you can see in San Sebastian.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong> Gothic Architectural style</strong></span></p>
<ul style="text-align: justify;">
<li><em>The Palacio de Miramar</em>—or also the Royal Miramar Country House.  It was architect Selden Wornum who designed the said palace, which includes the local influences and the Neo-Gothic features.  It was Queen Maria Cristina who decided this palace to be built which until now features a lovely place with lovely gardens where you can view the bay.</li>

<ul style="text-align: justify;">
<li style="text-align: justify;"><em>Iglesia Parroquial San Salvador</em>—this gothic architectural style of San Sebastian is located in Getaria.  This church was established to adapt to the arrangement of the land and that would uneven the layout of the ground.</li>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Renaissance Architectural style</strong></span></p>
<ul style="text-align: justify;">
<li><em>Iglesia de San Anton</em>—this architecture is in fact has different styles (Renaissance and Baroque).  The tower is in the baroque style which was added in 1777 while the porch is a renaissance style.</li>

<li><em>San Telmo Museum</em>—this museum is actually part of the convent.  Its architectural style is belonged to the renaissance style.</li>

<li style="text-align: justify;"><em>Casa Consistorial en Hondarribia</em>—appointed now as the home of the Town Hall with a baroque style of architecture.  It is made up of masonry stones.  Some of the most interesting parts of the buildings are its balcony and its entrance porch.</li>

<li style="text-align: justify;"><em>The Iglesia de San Pedro</em>—one of the incredible churches in San Sebastian because of its baroque style of architecture.  The entranceway that it has has an image of Saint Peter.</li>

<p align="justify">After several hours of travel and all pictures galore…. We settled ourselves in Barcelona hostel which then gave roofs to our heads and a place to rest our body. As expected in a hostel setting everybody seems so eager to know each other and share stories.</p>
<p align="justify">The next morning we then pack our bags and started our tour of San Sebastian. We started form it architecture. Indeed San Sebastian is a wealthy city. It shows a lot from its architecture.</p>
<p align="justify">It would indeed impress and leave a mark of wealth in every tourist as it gaze from its impressive and tall building. Each building is unique, beautiful and distinct from each other.</p>
<p align="justify">From the Baroque, Renaissance to Gothic architecture they can be gazed at San Sebastian. Indeed the Spanish class and glamour is best boasted in this city.</p>
<p align="justify">The Gothic Architecture can be seen in Cahedral del Buen Pastor, Palacio de Miramar, church of Santa Maria del Coro, Iglesia de Nuestra de la Asuncion y del Manzano, Iglesia de San Ignacio, Iglesia de San Vicente, Iglesia Parroquial San Salvador, Catedral de Santiago, Iglesia de San Anton and Iglesia de San Vicente Martir.</p>
<p align="justify">Casa Consistorial en Hondarribia, Iglesia de Nuestra Senora de la Asuncion del Manzano and Iglesia de San Pedro are crafted in Baroque Style.</p>
